Mission Statement:
MSSCA’s Mission is to partner with individuals and families, delivering excellent support services, and building community by promoting dignity, respect, independence, and diversity.

MSSCA provides a wide range of home and community based services for Mat-Su residents with intellectual or developmental disabilities, families with children experiencing developmental delays or disabilities and parents with questions about child safety and child development.

Services we offer:

  • Infant Learning Program
(for children ages birth to 3 years)
  • Residential
(Apartment Living, Assisted Living Homes, Family Habilitation Homes)
  • Supported Employment
(Job Placement, Job Development, Job Site Support)
  • Day Habilitation
  • Family Support
    (Respite Services)

Most services are offered at no cost to families and individuals. However, some program participants must meet eligibility requirements for services. Costs vary and may be covered by a variety of funding sources such as Medicaid Home and Community Based Waivers, United Way, private insurance, sliding fee schedule, State of Alaska and Mat-Su Borough grants. We proudly serve the Mat-Su Borough, a large and diverse geographical area about the size of West Virginia. Most borough residents and service recipients reside along the road system in the “core area” (includes the cities of Palmer & Wasilla and the surrounding areas). Some service recipients reside in more rural areas of the Borough.
