The first three years of a child’s life are an explosion of growth and development. During this critical time of brain and skill building, many families need additional support to help their children maximize their potential.
Our Infant Learning Program provides home and community-based developmental early intervention services for families with children from birth to age three. We believe that families are the experts on their own children and have the greatest impact on their child’s development. Our goal is to come alongside you, offering additional tools, strategies, and confidence to help you support your child.
Our Services
ILP partners with families to enhance supports for their children within each family’s existing culture, structure, values, and priorities.
Developmental Evaluation
We assess your child’s skills across all areas of development to identify strengths and areas where they may need support.

Eligibility
Anyone with concerns about an infant or toddler’s development can contact us to make a referral. All families who provide consent are eligible to have their child evaluated.
Eligibility for ongoing services includes:
- Any child with a diagnosed developmental disability as approved by the State of Alaska ILP (e.g. Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, etc.).
- Any child whose evaluation indicates a delay of 50% or greater in one or more developmental areas as defined by the State of Alaska.
- Any child for whom the evaluation team agrees there is sufficient clinical evidence to support eligibility despite evaluation scores that fail to meet State of Alaska criteria for enrollment.
