Mat-Su Child & Adult
Support Services

Comprehensive Support for Every Stage of Life

At MSSCA, we provide a wide range of services designed to empower individuals with developmental disabilities and support their families. Whether you are looking for early intervention for a young child or employment support for an adult, our programs are tailored to promote dignity, respect, and independence.

Infant Learning Program (ILP)

Our Infant Learning Program serves families with children from birth to 3 years old. We partner with caregivers who have children experiencing developmental delays or disabilities to embed early intervention strategies into daily life during these critical formative years of brain development.

Hello B.A.B.Y.

Hello B.A.B.Y. (Building Alaska’s Babies with You) is a prevention-oriented initiative designed to connect families with young children (up to 5-years-old) and pregnant individuals to the resources they need to thrive. Implemented through R.O.C.K. Mat-Su, this project focuses on early relational health, basic needs support, and fostering strong social connections.

Residential Habilitation

We provide diverse residential services that support individual needs and promote independence. Whether receiving in-home support, supported living, or group home services, we offer personalized care and assistance.

Supported Employment

We are deeply committed to the belief that every individual has the capacity for meaningful work and community contribution. Our Supported Employment services are designed to facilitate this by assisting individuals in successfully finding, securing, and maintaining fulfilling competitive employment.

Our comprehensive approach is structured through three core service components:

Job Development

Our team actively engages with local businesses to identify and create customized positions that align with an individual’s unique skills, interests, and career goals, fostering true occupational fit.

Job Placement

We provide targeted assistance with essential employment tasks, including resume writing, interview preparation, and navigating the application process to match individuals with appropriate job opportunities.

Ongoing Job Site Support

We provide continuous, individualized support directly at the worksite. This includes training on specific job tasks, assistance with employer communication, and guidance on adapting to the workplace environment, ensuring long-term job retention and success.

Day Habilitation

Our Day Habilitation services focus on community inclusion and skill-building. We provide opportunities for socialization, volunteering, and participating in recreational activities throughout the Mat-Su Valley.

Respite

Caring for a loved one is rewarding but demanding. Our respite services provide primary caregivers with a much-needed break, knowing their loved one is receiving quality care in a safe and familiar setting.
